The short version: we collect as little as we can, we never sell it, and you can have it deleted any time.
Who we are

What we collect
- Your email address, when you sign up for The Rundown, along with the page you signed up from and the country your connection comes from.
- A scrambled form of your IP address at signup, used only to stop the form being spammed. It can't be turned back into the address.
- Analytics. Google Analytics records which pages are visited, roughly from where and on what kind of device, using cookies. We use it to see which episodes and features people use.
- Email activity. Our email service tells us whether a newsletter was delivered and opened, and if you unsubscribe.
What we don't do
- We don't sell or rent your information, and we don't share it with advertisers.
- YouTube videos and clips don't load until you press play, and use YouTube's privacy enhanced mode.
- Search runs in your browser; what you type isn't sent to us.
Who helps us run the site
Cloudflare hosts the site and stores signups. Resend sends The Rundown. Google provides analytics. Indeix, a Lute Labs Inc company, provides market prices. Each only gets what it needs to do that job.
Your choices
Every email has a one click unsubscribe link. To see or delete what we hold about you, email [email protected] and we'll do it within 30 days. You can block analytics cookies in your browser and the site still works.

If this changes in a way that matters, we'll say so in The Rundown.
