How it's counted
The numbers
- Launched: new coins created on the launchpad in the last 24 hours.
- Graduated: coins that finished their bonding curve in the last 24 hours and moved to a full market. Rate is graduations over launches in the same 24 hours.
- Some launchpads skip the bonding curve and open a pool right away; Long, for one, runs each launch on a timer. Every coin from those counts as graduated.
- Meteora's bonding curve powers several launchpads, among them Bags and Believe. They share one tag in the data, so they count together.
The backdrop
- Nearly all the growth in launchpad fees this summer came from Robinhood Chain. In the 30 days to August 11 its launchpads took $33.5 million in fees, and Pons alone $19.8 million, more than any launchpad but Pump.fun.
- On BNB Chain, Flap passed Pump.fun in daily revenue for the first time on August 1.
- Pump.fun's weekly share of launchpad fees fell to about 27% in mid July, then climbed back above half by mid August.
